JSC „Klaipeda passenger and cargo terminal“ is in the central part of Klaipeda Harbour. The territory takes up 70.201 square meters. The length of the berth is 143 meters now; the depth by the berth is 8.5 meters now.

Joint Stock Company „Klaipeda passenger and cargo terminal“ is incorporated in the local government of Klaipeda city on the 6th of June, 1996. The name of the company was JSC „Nosba”, and since the 21st of July, 1998 the name is JSC “Transfosa”. JSC Concern Achema Group has taken the management of our company from the 8th of October, 2004. The name of the company was changed to JSC „Klaipeda passenger and cargo terminal“ in juridical person registry on the 16th of May, 2005.

The main activity of our company is

• The main activity of our company is associated with oil water collecting and cleaning in Klaipeda port. We also can take such water for cleaning from motor transport. Presently JSC „Klaipeda passenger and cargo terminal“ collects oily and contaminated water with two ships „Flora“, „Fauna“, who belong to company ownership. Special ship-collector “Sanitaras-13“, which belongs to company ownership, collects waste and oil products from surface.

On purpose to improve natural environmental way and reduce pollution constantly, the company follows environment control policy and has been found to conform to the Environmental Management System Standard ISO 14001, which vouches its effective control. ISO 14001 is certificated by JSC „Det Norske Veritas“.
